1. I drive too fast. I recently got into a car accident in which I may or may not have been driving too fast. But that’s not the point that I mean here. In business and in life I tend to rush. I need to work on being patient. I can speed up my brain by increasing pressure but I have a difficult time switching to a slower processing speed. This can compound other weaknesses to follow.
2. I eat too much. When I go through my Quicken or my mint.com transactions I spend too much eating out keeping up with the Joneses or tipping. Also in business or life I tend to bite off more than I can chew. This is a tough habit to self manage. When I’m hungry I’m hungry. If I get excited about something I get excited about something.
3. I seek outside recognition. This makes it difficult to see myself working in organizations or with organizations with high level secrecy because I want to come home from work and slightly brag or talk about my accomplishments.
4. I have been told by intelligent people that I can come across as sounding a little bit scatterbrained. I do not have attention deficit disorder says Doc. This I believe is why I like to use speech recognition software. I can put my thoughts in order, chronologically, after getting them out.
