How to Start a Labor Union for Social Media Workers/Paid Production on LI LinkedIn
Labor Union defined – “an organized association of workers, often in a trade or profession, formed to protect and further their rights and interests.”
December 2016 – now that Microsoft has officially purchased LinkedIn this may be our last chance as the LinkedIn workers Association to form our trade labor unions and further our rights and interests. Writers and workers of social media paid/unpaid production for LinkedIn unite!
Step one – create a group for the writers and workers of social media pay production for LinkedIn on LinkedIn and make sure to market this group before it’s too late.
Step two – collect email addresses of members in the group and start emailing out short surveys to gather hard evidence of what the LinkedIn workers Association would like to see from the merger between Microsoft and LinkedIn.
It’s possible that it might be too late. Is it still worth the effort? Will someone step up to send out surveys and influence the future!
