For the accountants – full of jargon terms, but soon there will be a lot of changes at the @Internal Revenue Service . Exciting times for you all. I wish you the best of luck, it’s all in the implementation, of couse, but IRS employees additional training and upgraded tools should serve as the much needed recruitment for the hashtag#irs and its hashtag#employeelearningdevelopment .
Important snippet from this article: “The Taxpayer First Act closes the largest loophole in corporate protections,” stated tax fraud whistleblower attorney Stephen M. Kohn, a partner at Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto. “For the first time employees who expose tax fraud, which often include violations of the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering law, are protected from retaliation. Whistleblowers have uncovered tens of billions of dollars in tax frauds yet lacked minimum job protections.”
