A tribe called Next… “What’s Next?” No one ever asked?

Do you remember when you’re growing up and your running around the neighborhood playing different sports certain people were naturally leaders of these small groups. They were naturally selected because they involved everyone in a fair way so we always had enough players to play every sport. We just got done playing football you guys want to play baseball basketball or swim next? I want to do this, so-and-so wants to do that. Okay never mind let’s just play hot-potato and the winner chooses what’s next. So an unofficial non-elected official just used randomization to make a decision with the group in order to appease everyone in all fairness. Is this still democracy?  In some matters/decisions, can this be effective?  Representative democracy within an electoral college representing all tribes yet no one knows who they elected, and once elected, no one ever asked, “what’s next?” Not just .gov, but biz stands to democratize decision making as well. I think the future will need to really balance not leaving people behind but also pushing people forward competitively.

Would you be more involved if you could be called on to make the next big decision? So, society at large, “What’s Next?”
